Sales Tracker: Track Shopify sales using LiveChat

Install Sales Tracker at your Shopify store to monitor how much you sell, using your LiveChat for Shopify software. Track the value of your agents’ conversations and optimize your chats.


  1. Enter Sales Tracker functionality in your LiveChat account by going to Settings -> E-commerce -> Sales Tracker.

  1. Choose the dynamic sales value.
  1. Enter value parameter: order_sum.

  1. Choose your sales currency.
  1. Click “Add order number to the chat details” and insert Order ID parameter: order_id.

  1. If you leave 30 days of sales tracking, LiveChat will track any sales within 30 days from your conversation.
  1. Click Generate sales tracker code.
  1. Now, we will need to change a few things inside the code to make it work with Shopify, so open your text editor and paste the code over there.
  1. Add the 2 below lines right after the opening script tag.
var order_id = {{order.order_number}};
var order_sum = {{order.total_price | money_without_currency }};

  1. Now, go to Settings -> Channels -> Website and copy your LiveChat installation code.

  1. Add the LiveChat installation code before the Sales Tracker code in your text editor.
  1. Now, your code in your text editor should look like this (license ID will be different for each LiveChat account).

  1. Now, log in to your Shopify account and go to Settings -> Checkout.

  1. Go to Order processing -> Additional scripts section.
  1. Paste the previously created code in text editor in the Additional Scripts field and click “Save”.

  1. Start tracking your sales with LiveChat conversations.

Done! You have just installed Sales Tracker in your Shopify store. To monitor the statistics of your sales go to your e-commerce section of LiveChat reports.

Now, you can observe how much you sell using real-time live chat conversations on your website and optimize your customer support to sell, even more, using LiveChat for Shopify.
