Product Designer

We’re looking for a Product Designer to join our Developer Program team. Our goal is to create an environment for innovators who aim to change the way we communicate. The Developer Program team currently consists of 10 members. Some of them share their personal “why” for working at LiveChat as well as their perspective on the role of Product Designer.

In the Developer Program team we are not afraid to experiment with new technologies. We always look to improve our products and be the best ones on the market. A Product Designer should follow the latest standards and trends. I expect a very good eye for details, but I also like when a designer is flexible and can be convinced to bend some rules. @Jakub, Frontend Lead

The atmosphere at LiveChat is unique. We work shoulder to shoulder trying to deliver the best communication solutions possible. We all have a say in how the product should look and work. Last but not least, LiveChat actively supports professional development of its employees, which is a huge value for curious and ambitious individuals.@Sambor, Frontend developer

You will:

  • Design a clear and functional interface for third-party developers and technological partners;
  • Participate in the Build>Measure>Learn cycle for the current and future projects to ensure the best quality possible;
  • Identify areas that require user experience improvements; actively collect feedback from our customers and stakeholders;
  • Create design rules for Developer Console, which will correspond well with our brand visual identity and the Design System;
  • Actively collaborate in components creation and other Design System improvements;
  • Collaborate with UX researchers on user testing, create prototypes, give advice on tests scenarios;
  • Believe in and advocate for cross-product consistency of UX/UI.

You are:

  • A team player: you work together with a team, leveraging available resources instead of single-playing the execution;
  • Well organized: you know how to set priorities right and manage complex projects without assistance;
  • Data-oriented: you seek proof in data, clients’ feedback, user tests, and metrics instead of relying merely on your intuition;
  • Detail-oriented: you understand that great products are easy to use, consistent across all interfaces, and have no bugs.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • At least 3 years of experience in  product design;
  • Excellent experience with: Figma, MacOS, Jira;
  • Ability to present your projects, collect and apply changes based on stakeholders’ feedback;
  • Understanding of the software development process;
  • Practical knowledge of the SaaS business model;
  • Great command of the English language.

We can offer:

  • A full-time position in a company whose product is used 300k times per minute – worldwide(!);
  • A solid salary with all the government expenses covered;
  • The remote-first approach with our own, dog-friendly, coworking space in case you’d prefer working from the office and would like to have your pup friend to keep you company ;);
  • Support for your self-development with free access to Udemy courses, every book you’d ever want from Amazon, and a possibility to participate in the LiveChat Academy – all of that to boost your interest in our business and products;
  • Time and space for your creativity and ideas to be shared during our Side Project Days;
  • Multisport card – checked, private medical care – checked, dedicated integration budget – checked;
  • A dedicated spot just for you on our Team page.
