We’re on a mission to remove barriers from communication, and we need your help as an Editor on the Marketing team. In your role you will check all types of copy for style, readability, and adherence to our editorial policies. You will proofread copy and correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors. The main task of the job is to make written work free of errors and to ensure that it matches our internal tone and style.
As the Editor, you will take ownership of the technical part of our Brand Style Guide. You will also work closely with the Content and Marketing teams in various growth projects – there will be plenty of space for you to try new things and increase your impact on the business.
What we expect:
Expert, native-level English
Excellent written communication skills
Expert knowledge of spelling, grammar, punctuation
Working knowledge of AP Style Guide
Knowledge of the differences between American and British English
Ability to edit for internal tone and style
Ability to work well with others and to apply a tactful approach when dealing with authors
Ability to maintain high-quality work while meeting tight deadlines
Ability to rewrite text to improve clarity and readability
Willingness to help with copywriting when needed
A meticulous approach to your work and an eye for detail
A love of and feel for the English language
