We’re looking for a passionate, data-driven Business Development Team Lead who will start as a player/coach and grow our BDR team into a major source of pipeline for our broader sales organization.
The Business Development team is just getting started and you will be a fundamental part of working with Sales Leadership to structure our process and strategy. The role will report into the VP of Sales. This individual needs a proven track record of at least 1 year of experience managing ICs (individual contributors) and prior closing experience in SaaS. A passion for testing new strategies and experimenting is highly desirable.
As our Business Development Team Lead, you will lead a team of 2-6 BDRs that are reaching out to a high number of new or reactivated trial users, via phone/email/social touches, educating them on customer experience best practices, providing valuable insight and removing barriers for them to activate their subscription. Our ideal candidate is comfortable with managing the day-to-day operations of business development from cold calling to lead processes to hiring. This is an opportunity to take a growing team within our Sales Org to the next level.
Who you are:
1+ year of managing individual contributors (BDRs, Sales Reps, CSMs, etc);

Directly manage a team of BDRs to generate qualified meetings with decision makers across the Mid-Market and Enterprise segments, globally;
Partner with our Sales Leadership, Sales Ops, Sales Enablement, Product and Marketing to help our sales org achieve predictable growth goals with a focus on consistent lead generation;
Cultivate an atmosphere of continual teamwork, learning and development;
Conduct 1:1s with direct reports and help them reach their personal + professional goals;
Empower the team with weekly call, email and tactical reviews to identify best-practices and areas of improvement;
Train, develop and build out an ongoing skills analysis aimed at designing a scalable curriculum for improvement/advancement;
Develop and execute new strategies for prospecting, both inbound and outbound, that will be scaled across the Sales Organization;
Lead cross-department collaboration with multiple sales team, marketing, product teams and sales operations;
Work collaboratively to track and analyze key trends to inform data-driven decisions and top of the funnel metrics.
