Remote in Poland Full-time
At Text, we build global customer service products used by thousands of companies worldwide. We operate at speed, but never at the expense of clarity or sound judgment.
We’re now looking for an In-house Lawyer to join our Legal team and strengthen our contracting, privacy, and compliance capabilities as we continue to scale across Europe and the US.
This role is for someone who combines strong SaaS experience with business instinct. Someone pragmatic, who understands that great legal work enables growth, not blocks it.
Legal at Text is not a back-office function. We are a focused, high-performing team embedded in the business, helping drive smart and responsible growth. You’ll work closely with the Head of Legal and collaborate daily with Product, Sales, and Operations.
We’re a small, senior team where ownership, collaboration, clarity, and impact matter more than titles. We challenge each other, speak openly, and once a direction is set, we move forward together.
If you’re looking for a role where you can combine strong legal craft with real business influence - we’d love to talk.
Strengthen our legal foundations while supporting commercial velocity, delivering pragmatic, high-quality legal work that enables the business to move forward with confidence.
We care about outcomes, not noise. We value precision, teamwork, quality, ownership, and good judgment over performative busyness.
About the team
Legal at Text operates as a tight, expert unit. We cover privacy, emerging AI-related regulation, commercial contracts, intellectual property, compliance, due diligence, and regulatory matters across multiple jurisdictions, with strong exposure to the US market.
We work in weekly sprints, but we prioritize quality over rush.
We share context openly.
We ask questions early.
We support each other in complex matters.
We thrive in product-driven, tech environments and are comfortable operating close to Product and Sales, where legal input directly shapes real business decisions.
Draft, review and negotiate SaaS commercial agreements, including MSAs and enterprise contracts
Support EU and US privacy compliance in day-to-day operations
Translate legal complexity into clear options, trade-offs, and provide business-oriented recommendations that support informed business decisions
Contribute your input to ongoing Legal priorities while operating within a clear strategic Legal team direction
Own your matters end-to-end with strong preparation, documentation, and disciplined follow-through
You might be a great fit if:
You deliver fast, but you think first
You are business-oriented and pragmatic
You learn from mistakes and don’t repeat them
You care deeply about the quality of your work, even when moving fast
You care more about getting it right than about being right
You have excellent English (written and spoken)
Experience navigating legal aspects of emerging technologies is highly valued. A working understanding of the US legal landscape and practical awareness of AI-related regulations are strong advantages.
We’re open to both:
a seasoned expert, or
a high-potential, fast-learning lawyer with solid SaaS exposure and strong business instinct.
Real impact on a global SaaS company operating in the EU and the US
Close collaboration with leadership
High autonomy and trust within clear strategic boundaries
A team that values clarity, ownership, and simplicity
A culture focused on effectiveness, clarity, and professional respect.
We don’t want you to worry about all the basic benefits - like a Multisport card, private health care, or a home office equipment budget.
What we really want you to feel and what we believe in is that the real benefits come from the culture we’ve built.
With a hybrid work model, unlimited paid days off and sick days policy, an environment focused on outcomes instead of worked hours, and people dedicated to their work, you’ll find a workplace where you can thrive.
And here’s the icing on the cake: you’ll have the opportunity to work with the makers behind all Text products: LiveChat, ChatBot, HelpDesk, KnowledgeBase, OpenWidget.
