Hi, with surveys about remote work coming out frequently, we conducted one inside LiveChat, and we’re sharing the results with you.

Hi,

It’s hard to believe, but many of us have been working remotely for half a year now. We’ve even become a remote-first company at LiveChat, and we’re as productive as ever.

I’d also like to invite you to our online hackathon. Oh, and we have a beautiful, retro keyboard up for grabs in a new contest!

Join .txtlss, a month-long, worldwide hackathon

.txtlss stands for “textless.” We want to disrupt the market of text-based messaging and help innovators in building new forms of communication. Take part in a virtual hackathon that aims to disrupt the way we think about text messaging. We give you the tools, creative space, and a reason. Do you accept the challenge?

Join our Facebook event page and a dedicated Slack community. Make new friends and have fun while also competing for up to $20,000 in cash!

Take a look

Have you heard about our Typing Speed Test? You might want to check out its new look and, well, test your typing speed. After that, we’ll take you to the Success Facebook page so that you can let your creativity flow through the keyboard in the comments section below the dedicated post. Delight us with your answer and turn the heads of your colleagues with a fancy keyboard.

Trends in remote work and what they mean

While providing an inside look at LiveChat, the results of our survey also show answers that reflect general trends that are happening around the world right now. Surveys conducted by The New York Times and another conducted jointly by Buffer and AngelList showed similar results. Human resources and how we work are undergoing a dramatic shift, and businesses will need to keep up and adapt.

If you’ve been looking for an easy-to-use tool that would help you organize your daily work, consider trying out Private TODOs. This integration allows you to create a list of to-do items that are always at hand in the Details section. You can also create customer-related and chat-related notes, which you can later on search and filter.

Private TODOs uses a free Microsoft TODO account to keep and manage your LiveChat to-do list. Don’t worry, your private lists won’t be edited. The application stores your LiveChat to-do list separately from other lists, so you can safely use your active Microsoft TODO account.
