Tips for support agents

Hi guys,

Work can be stressful from time to time.

How do you cope with managing a lot of tasks? Can you share with us some tips that could help other support agents deal with stress at work?

We keep chats that are amusing , like the one where the Customer insisted every comment related to Star Wars, we share in Slack and pin so chuckles can be had quickly which does tend to relieve stress, we also have fully stacked snack tables

We meet everyday at noon, whether it’s for a few minutes or 30 minutes. I find it allows everyone to connect as a team and make sure everyone is informed, supported and ask for help if stressed. Some days the meeting may be about what they have planned for the weekend if everything is going well at work, other times we’re discussing tasks that require completion.
This (among other things I’m sure), has made our department one of the most desirable and fun departments to work for in the company!

Sometimes agents may be too stressed out, so it’s important for them to have extra day-off, when they can’t cope with stress and are really exhausted.
