I had a question asked our users, when clients want to leave a message either in ticket form or post survey form. Is there a way to limit how many characters and show the limit amount with # of count in the form or under the message/comment box? Will something like this be available in the future?
What is the use case, @Rakoon007? Maybe there is an alternative way to do it.
The limit of characters within one messages is set to about 16k (which means approximately about 15-16k characters)
Unfortunately, there is no way to put a limit to it – the way to implement it would be to build your own chat window via Customer SDK and set the restrictions in front-end.
