How to get LiveChat API of missed chats with Microsoft Excel

Hi,

I am trying to export information about missed chats following this article:

In the example the article creator is using this request in order to get chat transcripts:

https://api.livechatinc.com/v2/chats?date_from=2018-09-01&date_to=2018-09-03&page=1

but I cannot find in the documentation anything about how to make the request for missed chats.

Any help would be fantastic. Thanks

Hello @rp.norwegian

It looks like you have to add to the API call a replied=0 parameter, therefore on the example given in the article it’ll look like that:

https://api.livechatinc.com/v2/chats?date_from=2018-09-01&date_to=2018-09-03&page=1&replied=0

Let me know if you have more questions!

Hey @Lukasz_W thanks. Yes it worked! But made me realized that I meant to look for Abandoned chats. I guess that Chats that were not assigned to any agent. Is there any other parameter for that?

If that’s the case, I’m afraid more work is required to accomplish that.

I’m assuming that you’re interested in Unassigned chats (pic rel)

You would have to change from v2 API that you’re using now to newer v3 version, and in this method (https://developers.livechat.com/docs/messaging/agent-chat-api/#list-archives) add to payload
{filters: {agents: {exists: false} }

In API v3, filters are being added in body request, not in parameters.
Moreover, authorization is also different.

I’d recommend you to read our documentation:

hope it helps!

Thanks!, I’ll take a look
