ChatBot greetings and LiveChat greetings

I’m hoping someone might know the answer to this… I"m using ChatBot with the LiveChat Software… we are using it during our after hours (when no human agents are on)… Is there any way to temporarily disable the LiveChat automated greetings (which work great for starting conversations with agents), and to just default to the ChatBot greeting only. I feel like it can be a bit confusing if the LiveChat greeting appears and then the ChatBot greeting appears… I would like just one greeting, not 2.

Unfortunately, you cannot turn off the LiveChat’s greeting. However, you can go to your ChatBot dashboard and disable the welcome interaction in your chatbot’s scenario. This way you’ll get rid of the redundant message.
