As a Product Content Designer your main role will be to shape great product experiences by creating useful, meaningful copy and communicating the value we bring to our customers with every new product release.
This is not the typical UX Writer job posting. This role requires both solid experience with UX/technical writing and good marketing foundations. You’ll have the opportunity to use your skills every day to the fullest, validate your ideas with a large user base, and grow among a diverse team of content writers, developers, and product designers.
Designing, editing, and improving UI copy across multiple touchpoints: product flows, product names, and terminology
Creating, improving, and maintaining content design guidelines and frameworks
Collaborating with Data & Research, Design, and Product teams to make informed content decisions and explore the users’ language
Leading feature-naming work for LiveChat
Refining key definitions and nomenclature across all products
Co-operating with teammates at every step of the product development process to ensure a seamless user experience and messaging
Providing mentorship and developing UX writing skills for other content writers
Advocating for content design across the organization
Minimum 2 years of experience related to UX writing or technical writing (content designer, content strategist, information architect, UX writer)
Experience working with a product, preferably in a SaaS model
Fluent English: 100% of your work will be done in English
A great understanding of the design process, usability, and UX writing
Ability to work in the dynamic environment of a quickly evolving business
Experience with Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar product design tools
Ability to build your position and respect through knowledge sharing and advocacy
The confidence and determination to make things happen and persuade decision-makers to run with your best ideas
