We are looking for an enthusiastic and open-minded Test Automation Engineer who will be a full-time member of our cross-functional product team. If you're experienced in automated tests and want to use and share your knowledge, feel free to apply!

LiveChat is a fully remote product company. Our suite of products (four by now!) improves customer care and the online sales of over 36,000+ companies from 150 countries worldwide.

We are a team with a lot of freedom. We build our own roadmap and set objectives. We value creativity, proactivity, willingness to experiment, and teamwork. There will be a lot going on for sure!

We are an organized team of PM, UX/UI, FE Developers, and Quality Assurance Specialists, working in 2-week sprints.

What we’re looking for:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer;

  • Strong experience with automated testing in JavaScript (TypeScript);

  • Strong experience with frontend automation testing;

  • Experience in sharing knowledge and mentoring in automation;

  • Experienced in working with consumer-facing apps;

  • Familiar with engineering practices and writing well-tested and high-quality code; 

  • Good knowledge about testing methodologies;

  • Strong QA skills including testing and defect reporting;

  • Good knowledge of web fundamentals: HTTP, HTML, CSS, and WebSockets;

  • Self-reliance and responsibility for assigned tasks;

  • Effective time management;

  • Precision, curiosity, perceptiveness, and patience.

 Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of API testing;

  • Certifications such as ISTQB;

  • Experience in continuous integrations systems;

  • Experience in mentoring others.
