LiveChat is looking for a Sales Engineer to work across our growing sales org and partner with our team to lead the technical aspects of the sales process. To achieve this, you’ll need to forge dynamic relationships across the organization and work closely with both leadership and sales reps. You must be able to thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment, and roll up your sleeves to get the job done in an organized and strategic-focused manner.
Ideally, you are a professional that clients have come to respect and trust due to your ability to communicate and articulate complex ideas in a simple way, as well as listen to various perspectives and prescribe the best course of action. You will help develop POCs, walk customers through technical discussions and help with questionnaires/RFPs.

2+ years relevant experience in a pre-sales/sales engineering, technical account management, implementation or customer-facing technical role (ideally in B2B SaaS);
Ideally, you are comfortable explaining technical concepts like APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and cookie compliance to those who may not fully understand these concepts;
Comfortable and confident in delivering technical presentations/demos to either external customers or internal teams;
Able to think creatively about a wide variety of challenges. You’re going to find new things every day;
Overcoming technical and security roadblocks should be no problem;
Experience assisting with requests for proposals/information and have partnered with sales reps on document reviews;
Comfortable communicating highly technical concepts to a variety of audiences, from software engineers to executive-level decision-makers;
Passion for learning and development, as well as helping others get better;
Highly organized, with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment;
Intermediate-level knowledge of a broad range of web technologies and concepts, including as many of the following as possible: jQuery, Node.js, REST APIs, App Development, CMS platforms, eCommerce platforms, Personalization and/or A/B testing platforms, tag management, Product Recommendations, Email Marketing.
In this role, you will:
You will focus on ensuring successful sales processes by developing and running customized product demonstrations and proofs of concepts/value;
Develop subject matter expertise in LiveChat, Inc.’s products, becoming a highly sought-out resource for Sales and Customers, particularly in strategic engagements;
Manage and prioritize your workload in a cross-functional environment with competing demands, balancing internal and external needs. You will execute on multiple projects, track relevant KPIs, and meet well-defined objectives and timelines;
Spend your time between customer engagements, internal team meetings, and individualized project work;
Create proposal responses from RFPs/RFQs that are well received and result in LiveChat being invited to future stages;
Develop a library of best responses to be used for Request for Proposals (RFPs, RFIs, etc.) or security reviews;
Assist in documentation efforts around LiveChat, Inc.’s product offerings, internal knowledge base, and training resources;
You will establish yourself as a customer advocate by sharing customer pain points, feedback, and opportunities with our Product, Engineering, Implementation, Customer Success, and Marketing teams.
