We’re searching for a QA Lead to join our team based in Wroclaw, Poland (or remotely within the EU) who will coach, mentor, and support a team of 9+ QA Specialists. The ideal candidate is a born leader and passionate QA engineer.  This is a terrific opportunity to build upon or grow your QA leadership career with a high-growth SaaS company that is expanding globally and has untapped potential. The LiveChat app is used by 300,000 users every minute. This means 300,000 opportunities per minute to help companies turn a visitor into a satisfied customer. The team you will support is based in the Wroclaw, Poland area however, we are open to this role being remote with travel to the Wroclaw area on a set schedule we decide on (COVID won’t slow our tremendous revenue growth one bit).

Who you are:

  • You have excellent leadership and organizational skills and proven commercial success;
  • You’re there for your team and you are not afraid to “get in the trenches”, especially when it comes to skill development;
  • You have strong communication skills, including documentation, asynchronous collaboration, and in-person presentation skills;
  • You have a history of coaching and developing employees or peers & leading them through change;
  • You have strong knowledge about testing (methodologies, frameworks, hands-on work);
  • You have a very good understanding of web fundamentals: HTTP, HTML, CSS, WebSockets, and test automation tools (JavaScript or Python-based);
  • You can call yourself an analytical mind and problem-solver;
  • You are highly fluent in English.

Nice to have:

  • Certifications such as ISTQB;
  • Understanding of continuous integrations systems;
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence
  • Knowledge of Cypress 

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee the overall quality of LiveChat product, setting direction, and ensuring that product increments are delivered with maximum quality and minimum bugs;
  • Propose and implement solutions that improve the quality and effectiveness of the testing process;
  • Manage and create a test plan and strategy;
  • Inspire and lead your team to success, through regular feedback and training.
