About the team:

We are a team of experienced engineers. We are responsible for developing and maintaining the LiveChat infrastructure for all our products.

Our competencies range from load balancing through automation to load databases. Each of us has a technology baseline, as well as our areas of expertise. Teamwork means a lot to us. If you don't know something, you ask, and we figure it out together. 

We work in Scrum, and there’s a huge variety of projects - small and large. There’s a lot of brainstorming and close collaboration with the development teams.

Nothing is set in stone, and there’s always room for experimenting with new technologies. 

By joining us, you’ll take part in shaping the entire LiveChat Platform. 

Our tech stack:

  • on-premises and public cloud environments (AWS, GCP)

  • RedHat-based OS distros

  • Terraform, Packer, Puppet, Ansible

  • MySQL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch

  • Redis, RabbitMQ

Who are we looking for?

We don’t calculate the seniority level based on years of experience. However, we’re looking for skilled engineers with a focus on professional growth and knowledge sharing. We need someone experienced in working with distributed systems and with public clouds. 

Your technical skills:

  • Infrastructure as Code approach and tools

  • L4/L7 load balancing (bonus points for experience working with HAProxy)

  • relational and NoSQL databases administration

  • CI/CD concepts and tools

  • experience with distributed systems

  • experience with public clouds 

  • experience with Kubernetes (nice to have)

You need to have very good knowledge of written and spoken English.

A remote practice run

We’ll give you a project to work on for a few hours. You’ll also meet the people that’ll give you tips, advice, and access to data and tools so you can feel like you’re already a part of the team. Get familiar with our atmosphere, the workflow, and the people. All in all, we’ll help you make a well-informed decision.
