Let’s cut off the bullshit and get straight to the point - there’s a job to be done!

We need you to take care of LiveChat Design System. We’ve been building it for quite some time but never on a daily basis as a full-time project. We want to change that and work with you to take it to the next level.

We want you to take the lead over the project. In the beginning, your team will consist of two - you as a designing leader of the team and a developer who will translate your ideas into code. We expect you to be able to adjust the team's growth accordingly to the Design System growth pace. For now, you will develop a design system for LiveChat, but ultimately we want to spread it all over our other products (ChatBot, HelpDesk, ChatWidget and KnowledgeBase).

You will work closely with our design team, providing them with adequate knowledge, gathering feedback, and supporting them on day-to-day design work.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Shaping our visual language by building design system, including designing components, documenting best practices, and exporting knowledge to others

  • Developing the brand and aesthetics of the Design System

  • Unlocking product teams to ship solutions at a greater pace and scale

  • Being an evangelist of the Design System among all stakeholders

  • gathering feedback from Design System users.

Why you? Because you have:

  • Practical experience in building design systems

  • Experience working with a product, preferably in a SaaS model

  • Excellent knowledge of Figma, MacOS, Jira;

  • Excellent communication skills;

  • Ability to present projects and ideas skillfully and confidently;

  • Understanding of software development process;

  • Great command of the English language.

A remote practice run

We’ll give you a project to work on for a few hours. You’ll also meet the people that’ll give you tips, advice, and access to data and tools so you can feel like you’re already a part of the team. Get familiar with our atmosphere, the workflow, and the people. All in all, we’ll help you make a well-informed decision.
