Remote in Poland Full-time
We create innovative, world-class engineering solutions. We don’t mean to brag, but in our daily work, we solve unconventional problems you can’t really google. Whenever possible, we open-source our libraries and share them with the developer community.
You’ll be a member of the Platform API team responsible for developing our core backend services.
You’ll develop the API used internally in our products. Thanks to that, you’ll get to cooperate with various teams.
On top of that, the exact same API is used by external developers, who build LiveChat integrations. Your work will shape the entire LiveChat Platform ecosystem and the LiveChat Developer Community.
You’ll have full ownership of the features you’ll work on. You’ll get to propose, design, and implement a solution. You’ll have our support all the way to fixing bugs on production ;-)
We work in SCRUM, but it’s hard to describe a typical day. Your team will be divided into technological and project groups you’ll be a member of. Sounds enigmatic? We’ll be happy to tell you more.
Go, node.js, C++
MySQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, RabbitMQ
gRPC, Protobuf, Websocket
We’re open to experimenting with new technologies. We analyze each problem and choose the right tools to solve it.
Technical skills: You should know at least the basics of Golang programming language. We’re advocates of software craftsmanship, who truly care about the quality of their code. We hope you share these values, too.
Soft skills & attitude: We’re a team of developers driven by passion, who enjoy each other’s company and like to joke around. At the same time, we’re open to feedback, both positive and negative. We don’t avoid difficult subjects but resolve problems by discussing them. We’ll get along well if you’re cheerful, ready to give & take feedback, and passionate about coding. Your enthusiasm and proactive approach can make up for a more modest experience.
Language skills: You need to have very good knowledge of written and spoken English.
We don’t want you to worry about all the basic benefits - like a Multisport card, private health care, or a home office equipment budget.
What we really want you to feel and what we believe in is that the real benefits come from the culture we’ve built.
This is reflected in our unlimited paid days off and sick days policy, remote-friendly environment with a focus on outcomes instead of worked hours, and people who are dedicated to their work.
Are you feeling like this might be a great place to consider working for? We feel it too ;) Join us and apply.
Recruitment process
It’s time to fill out the application form and attach your CV. Here’s what happens next in our fully remote recruitment process:
Get yourself something to drink and let’s talk. Tell us about your professional experience, the results of your work, and your values. We’ll tell you a little bit about the company, products, and company culture. We’ll also talk about the money and your availability.
At this stage, we’ll test your craft to see the value you can bring to the company. The most important part? You’ll find out everything about the challenges in your role, and we’ll find out everything we need to know about your experience.
We’ll give you a project to work on for a few hours. You’ll also meet the people that’ll give you tips, advice, and access to data and tools so you can feel like you’re already a part of the team. Get familiar with our atmosphere, the workflow, and the people. All in all, we’ll help you make a well-informed decision.
